I've wised up since then and figured out that certain things give off certain auras and i've also learned that I live in a really spiritually active place. Before I even really began witching, at age 10 and 11 I was using ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic spells to protect myself and my family. I would draw them on my hands, on my bedframe, on my clothes.

I haven't had concrete experiences but I can see auras and feel energies. Because of this, when I was little, I believed in monsters. I don't mean sleeping with a nightlight on cuz i'm afraid of the dark and there's a monster under my bed, (i've never been afraid of the dark) I mean I honest to god thought there were monsters EVERYWHERE. I was friends with the wind and trusted it to keep me safe from the monsters by blowing them away and to this day I still feel safer when it's windy

Hey really important reminder for folks that aren't Native, PLEASE do not make/sell/purchase dreamcatchers unless you're buying directly from the source! i.e. native-owned businesses, reservations, or a local pow wow. If you still want to craft, build a witch's ladder! They're beautiful, easy to make, and can come in any size that suits your fancy. Braid feathers and charms into a knotted chord for a similar aesthetic to a dreamcatcher.

for those who dont have access to a tarot deck, or would like to have access to a digital one, i recommend the app "Golden Thread Tarot" you can look up card meanings, do different spreads for different types of readings, keep a log of all your spreads..its pretty cool
