I've been seeing a lot of people lately talking about feeling bad because they aren't doing more or being a "better witch" . In my perspective, that's likely leftover or ambient Christian stuff. Being a witch in many traditions isn't performed, it's integrated into your everyday. Your ancestors who used magic, yes worked hard at it, but mostly did it in service of their daily lives. Learn what you need to learn to deal with what you need to deal with.

I just realized folks might not know this but the names for the different full moons - "wolf moon", "flower moon", etc - are a neopagan hold over from writers who were "inspired" by some Native American tribes who have names for full moons and relied on generalizing that to all Native American tribes to lend the idea credibility and a sense of spirituality. I only know this because a native friend pointed it out to me. It's clearer in older pagan books.
