Fighting off a guilty gut feeling for flat-out refusing my father's request to drive my estranged brother home from the airport.
It's perfectly reasonable to refuse for a number of reasons--I'm not on speaking terms with my brother, it's a three hour drive each way, and his flight is coming in at half-past midnight on a work-night, but that stupid little nagging feeling in my gut is making me feel bad for refusing.
So the new branch of duty I've been given at work isn't ~quite~ graphic design, yes. At least not yet. First I'm going to be maintaining some of the existing decals--BUT immediately after being shown what I need to do I found a way of doing the most annoying part of it waaaaaay quicker than the guy preceeding me did.
I had a dream about a Sonic the Hedgehog promotional campaign done by Junji Ito.
It centered around regular people finding these gold rings in regular environments. They were about 20cm across or so and had a little center piece of white plastic with a silhoutte of Tails and some text I didn't read because dream.
Whoever found it would get really excited about seeing a party in a castle on the "other side" of the ring and start to stretch it around themselves to get through.
