Anyone have any tricks to help keep cats from using your garden as a litter box? I don't know how much more my lavender n strawberries can take 😑

@wagfemmmhouse thanks!
@VirgoMoon using citrus essential oils around the garden can work as they don’t like the smell — same with the smell of rue and pennyroyal, which you could maybe plant near the lavender and strawberries?
@sunrisegarden ooop I'll have to try that thank you!

This site seems pretty helpful, just click on the pink hyperlinks for more info. I wish I had some advice I could offer myself tho 😓
@Pwash thank you!
@VirgoMoon Chicken Wire? Cats hate aluminum foil. Citrus smells also make cats leave.
@Pinchofoccult tried chickenwire but the way the bed is against the house and steps the still get around it. Their resilient little bastard, cute tho haha
@VirgoMoon Well damn. Huh.
@VirgoMoon I have a suggestion:
Be untidy. I can (mostly) keep the neighbour's cat away by not leaving any large surfaces of bare soil. Use e.g. cut grass, twigs or rocks to cover the space between plants. I heard from numerous people that rose twigs do an excellent job, but I've found that just about anything that helps cover the soil will do.
hope you're plants are still ok :-)
@VirgoMoon I asked my cousin and she said the only thing she’s done that has worked is fencing off the planting bed with chicken wire. it keeps skunks out, too. they eat grubs so they’ll get in your bed and dig your plants out of the ground trying to get at the grubs. 😂
