#introduction I'm Ariane (ARE-EE-EN) she/her, #bi, 23, and an eclectic solitary witch.
I dabble in a little bit of everything (kitchen witchery, divination, hearth, mundane magick, etc) but energy work currently holds my interest.
There aren't a whole lot of open witches in my area, so I hope to make some witchy friends on here!

we are getting back to school supplies at the bookstore (which is totally new) and I AM SO EXCITED FOR ALL THE STICKERS
I need some sort of Witch subscription box. Like a monthly box that is filled with supplies (candles, bags of herbs, small cards with new spells to try).
Partly because I’m sometimes too busy to restock on my supplies. And partly because getting packages in the mail makes me happy.
@c0nstelllation I really like using pendulums. First I learned about tarot but one of my friends gave me her pendulum when she realized I had a lot more yes-no questions than my deck could deal with 
It's good to have a board or in my case a page in my grimoire where it can say yes-no-maybe, but I also made a page where I could write down multiple answers in sort of like web for multiple choice kind of questions.

Runes! I made my own system of runes with the help of a deity. They're little paper runes with drawings that have symbolic meanings
For me its just what felt right, tarot and oracle and regular runes just never worked for me. Literally couldnt get them to reveal anything for me.
I guess that's good advice for any beginner though. Just kinda feel things out, explore, see what works for you, whether its runes, tarot, or something else.
Don’t ever let anyone tell you cleaning is dumb. Not only do you literally and magically clean your house, it’s cleansing for you too. I always feel so good after cleaning ✨✨✨
@c0nstelllation I favor tarot and oracle cards. And if I’m honest, I had my first oracle deck looong before I became a witch. Tips for beginners would be to bond with your decks. Take time to ask questions of the deck itself, and note the answers you get. Also, if you and a deck don’t work well together, that’s okay. I had one that really leeched my energy, and was super hard for me to read. Basic tarot deck, mind you. For whatever reason we just didn’t click, and so I don’t use it any more.
@c0nstelllation my sister gifted me her old tarot deck that she had never really used bc she had only bought it as a teenage rebellion thing. I still have it today! My advice is to get to know the energy of your tools and don't fall into the popular thing of "oh they're roasting me," bc they're not! They just connect to your highest self and want to help you improve your life! Plus so many have personalities so get to know them!
